Dosage & Administration
Recommended dosage is 200 mg/m2/day for up to 5 consecutive days by continuous infusion.

In patients with mild hypercalcemia and few symptoms, a lower dosage of 100 mg/m2/day
for 5 days may be considered

If serum calcium levels are lowered into the normal range in less than 5 days, treatment may be
discontinued early
- The daily dose must be administered as an intravenous infusion over 24 hours
- Ganite should be diluted in 1000 mL of normal saline or 5% dextrose solution injection

Solution is stable for 48 hours at room temperature (15°-30°C) or for 7 days if
stored under refrigeration (2°-8°C).

Parenteral drug products should be inspected visually for particulate matter and discoloration
prior to administration whenever solution and container permit

Adequate hydration must be maintained before and during the treatment period with careful
attention to avoid overhydration in patients with compromised cardiovascular status.

retreatment with Ganite has not been established
